Elizabeth Canis

Liz has spent two decades driving transformative change across the health care industry.  Liz spent eleven years at UnitedHealthcare, where she served as Chief of Staff to the UnitedHealthcare CEO and crafted the organization’s business and implementation strategy for state and private Exchanges.  Liz frequently represented UnitedHealthcare during the ACA implementation in meetings with government officials, the investment community and as a lecturer/guest speaker at numerous external venues.  Liz is widely recognized for her vision, strategy, and focused execution, enabling organizations to quickly capitalize on growth initiatives and emerging opportunities. Liz began her career as a consultant at Deloitte.

Rich Collins

Rich is a former senior executive at UnitedHealthcare (17 years).  From 2005 to 2012, Rich was CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s Golden Rule Insurance Company, which specialized in the individual line of business and offered health and ancillary insurance plans in 41 states and the District of Columbia. During Rich’s tenure, Golden Rule Insurance grew to be the second largest carrier in the individual market with ~$2B in annual premium. Between 2000 and 2012, Rich also served as the SVP of Underwriting, Pricing, and Healthcare Economics at UnitedHealthcare and was responsible for a $40B portfolio.

Elizabeth Nash

Elizabeth has over twenty years of experience in the health care industry. Elizabeth spent eighteen years with UnitedHealthcare—most recently serving as the National Director of Exchanges, responsible for leading the organization’s advocacy and implementation efforts for public exchanges. During her eighteen-year tenure with UnitedHealth Group, Elizabeth led efforts related to new business development, government relations, compliance, operations, and other strategic initiatives.
